That image of the gorgeous little girl at the bottom made my eyes sting. I remember the ache of wanting to look different at such a young age. It left a scar that has lasted my entire life. The thought that other little girls are also holding themselves up to ridiculous, hollow standards of beauty breaks my heart. I wish I could kneel down and say "You are beautiful" to every single one of them. You don't need to be blonde, honey. You have the most haunting eyes and the most gorgeous face and hair I've seen in a long time. You don't need to change a thing. You are perfect just the way you are.
